Tankless Water Heaters
A tankless water heater is a smaller unit that is mounted to your wall. Some advantages of a tankless water heater are;
- never running out of hot water
- not wasting gas when hot water is not being used
- Space saving and compact
- energy efficient
There is no doubt that tankless water heaters are becoming more popular. If you’re thinking of getting one or have questions about them, please call us to set up a visit so we can help you out.
Traditional Vessel Water Heaters

No problem, we carry all the parts necessary to fix your water heater and increase the longevity of it’s life.
Temperature Control Valves and Temperature & Pressure Emergency Valves
Plumbing code requires all pressure vessels (like water heaters) have an emergency blow off valve. This valve protects the home and it’s occupants by opening up and releasing pressure should the built in emergency cut off unit fail. It is very important that this valve be tested regularly to ensure proper operation. We can do that for you! Safety is always first at Dekorte Plumbing and that’s why we carry replacements on all our trucks.
Another code requirement is a temperature control valve, more commonly known as a mixing valve. This unit is tied in to the hot and cold lines above the water heater and prevents the temperature from exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit or 49 degrees Celsius. The water heater must be kept at around 140 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent bacteria and other diseases. This high temperature can cause severe burns in seconds, thus the mixing valve is required to bring that temperature to a safe, yet still hot temperature. It is very important that this valve be working properly. If you are unsure, or want to make sure, or don’t currently have one installed, give us a call and we would be happy to help you know that you have safe hot water for you and your family.
Water heater issues come in many different varieties and often at inopportune times. We know that and that’s why we are prepared and ready to tackle all water heater issues at a moments notice. Alternatively you may be thinking of an upgrade or a more energy efficient water heater. We’re pros at that too. Call Dekorte Plumbing Inc and let us get you moving in the right direction.
